Salads

Mozzarella, tomato and basil salad

Simple, fresh and a timeless classic. Simply slice your tomatoes, tear the mozzarella and serve with a sprinkle of fresh basil. A light and fresh side to cut through the big rich flavour of Dr. Oetker Ristorante Salame pizza.

Rocket, beetroot and pine nut salad

Take your simple side to the next level with this earthy fresh salad. First toss a mixture of peppery rocket and radicchio leaves in a touch of rosemary olive oil mixed with a drop of white balsamic vinegar. Then add some grated beetroot, finely sliced red onion and finish with a sprinkling of toasted pine nuts. A warming earthy match to our Dr. Oetker Ristorante Pizza Funghi …and a cosy, candlelit evening meal.

Mixed salad with honey mustard dressing

Combined with our honey mustard jam jar dressing, this fresh green salad will lift any midweek lunch and is perfect with our Dr. Oetker Ristorante Pizza Mozzarella.

To make this tasty dressing, simply add 1 part white balsamic vinegar and 2 parts olive oil to a jam jar. Stir in 1 teaspoon of wholegrain mustard, 1 teaspoon of honey and a touch of salt and pepper to taste. Seal the jar and shake it up before drizzling over a salad of mixed leaves, cucumber, radish and tomatoes… belissimo!

Fancy a taste of something a little more Italian? Substitute the white balsamic for regular balsamic vinegar and switch the mustard for a mix of fresh basil, parsley and finely sliced spring onions… perfect poured over sliced plum tomatoes.

Dips and breads

Dips and nibbles make more of a midweek meal experience with any of our Dr. Oetker Ristorante pizzas.

Pair your favourite grissini (breadsticks) or thinly sliced warm ciabatta with a side of olive oil and a dash of balsamic vinegar for an authentic taste of Italy.

Fancy creating something a little more adventurous?
Whip up a tangy pesto dip by adding two tablespoons of pesto to a tub of soft cheese. Scatter with pine nuts and a drizzle of olive oil to serve… delicious!

Drizzling oils

Why not put your stamp on your Dr. Oetker Ristorante pizza with a selection of homemade flavoured oils? Chilli, garlic…whatever your favourite flavour, be enthused about infusing with our simple recipe to get you started:

1) Place your favourite ingredients in an ovenproof dish and cover liberally with olive oil
2) Bake in a preheated oven at 150°C for an hour
3) Leave it to cool and infuse, strain and store in an airtight bottle

Delicious to drizzle on any Dr. Oetker Ristorante pizza or salad.

Selection of olives

Serve up a selection of red and green olives to nibble on with your Dr. Oetker Ristorante pizza. For a more intense flavour, try sprinkling them with chilli or topping them with a sprig or two of rosemary.
